This Classroom will be comprised of a state-of-the art design facility plus a fabrication facility. Our LEGO and Robotics programmes, which continue to grow in popularity and participation levels, will be enhanced by the Design and Technology Classroom’s capabilities. Visual arts students will be able to use video and photography software programs for the creation of animation and photography projects. Computer Engineering and Technology classes will use AutoCAD to design and fabricate. Drama and English classes will use state-of-the art software to do video editing and media projects. Science students, from Grades 6 through to Senior Physics will be able to use the design and the fabrication facilities as they learn about forces, motion and structures. This facility will prepare our students for post-secondary studies in a variety of disciplines and provide numerous opportunities to learn innovative skills and gain new knowledge while enriching the education, life and careers of our students.
