Strategic Plan Objectives

This facility will provide the necessary facilities and space to provide our students with opportunities which develop personal skills leading to post-secondary success. The facility specifically addresses the following initiatives and objectives from the current 5-year Strategic Plan:

Strategic Initiative #1: An Enhanced and standard-setting curriculum.

• Enhancing our advanced curriculum which exceeds Ministry of Education guidelines, providing a “classical” education focussing on arts, sciences and maths
• Augmenting programs, where practical, to provide an additional challenge to interested students.
• Maintaining an extensive co-curricular program that continually adapts to changing student needs.

Strategic Initiative #2: Expanding our students’ learning community in and beyond the school using technology.

• Developing our students’ proficiency and comfort in the use of new and emerging technologies.
• Integrating new applications seamlessly into the curriculum and all aspects of school life.
• Encouraging our students to engage in a student-centered approach to learning using technology to create a broad knowledge base.
• Continuing to evolve our leadership in the integration of technology in the curriculum.

Strategic Initiative #3: Expanding awareness of our school and our capabilities.

• To ensure domestic and international awareness of the School and its leadership position as an educator of young women.
• Expanding our partnerships within the community by implementing ways to position the School as an active and committed community partner.
