| The Cast and Crew of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, had an amazing run. A total of 6 wonderful performances to visitors, friends, and family of Trafalgar! Once again, the abundant talent, energy and creativity of our students and staff were in evidence. Congratulations to the students and staff who worked so hard for over two months to create and present such a wonderful arrangement of this play and to the staff, for their creative approach in producing a Junior and a Senior Cast. The combined cast model allowed for a phenomenal participation rate and will strengthen future drama productions for years to come. | |

B.A.E. Granite State FIRST Robotics Regional Competition |
Manchester, New Hampshire, March 6, 2010 - Waldo could not be missed at the B.A.E. Granite State FIRST Robotics Regional competition in Manchester, New Hampshire last week! Trafalgar's Team 1547 left Whitby last Wednesday to compete as one of two Canadian teams in a 48 team competition. The team returned proudly early Sunday morning bearing medals signifying their huge Chairman’s Award win; the most prestigious award bestowed at any regional competition. Even more impressively, Team 1547 was the first Canadian Team to ever have won this Award at a U.S. Regional tournament! The Chairman’s Award honours the team that best represents a model for other FRC teams to emulate and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST. The Chairman’s Award helps keep the central focus of the FIRST Robotics Competition on the goal of inspiring greater levels of respect and honour for science and technology. The award automatically qualifies Team 1547 for the Championship Games in Atlanta in April. Congratulations to all Team 1547 members! A special thanks to the teachers and mentors for their time, talent and unwavering support and enthusiasm. | |
