Student Leadership Information 2009-2010

Leadership positions as Prefect (available to Grade 12 students) or member of the Trafalgar Athletic Association (available to Grades 11 and 12) are demanding, respected roles at Trafalgar. Early in the school year, these groups meet with Mrs. Martin and faculty advisors to create their own Code of Conduct (the expectations they feel are critical in order to be successful leaders) and to sign their contracts of commitment. These groups will receive special training throughout the year, as well as mid-year evaluations, all in working towards the goal of nurturing balanced, successful role models.

New to 2009/2010 are many other leadership positions across the school and across the grades. These new roles are opportunities for more Trafalgar girls to gain leadership experience and give back to their school community. Each new student leader will have a faculty or staff member as a mentor, to help guide her as she grows into her position. Girls are on the rise at Trafalgar!
