PARENTS' GUILD
Please feel free to attend a Guild meeting. As a Trafalgar parent/guardian you are a member of the Guild, and are encouraged to attend any and all meetings. Our meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of every month and tend to be a social time as well as a time to accomplish many projects to enhance the School. There are also ways you could help out without having to attend a meeting. There are various committees running at different times throughout the year for various fund raising projects, and we are always looking for volunteers in the boutique.
The purpose of the Parents’ Guild is to help enhance the educational and life experience of our girls at Trafalgar. All of our activities and fundraising efforts are directed to this end. We also sponsor events that we feel are important to the school community. Events like Breakfast with Santa and our Fall Social. These events are not intended to be fundraising events; they encourage outside involvement and help bring the school community together.
We are members of Interguild too. Interguild enables Guild/Parent Associations of Independent CAIS Schools in Ontario to get together and discuss issues affecting what we do. They also provide our membership with opportunities to attend workshops on a plethora of topics. These workshops are offered to all Guild Members, not just the executive. Please feel free to check out the Interguild Website for upcoming events and to learn more about the organization.
